Third Ward
I hate blogs, I really do, so sorry dear humans who must read this. P.s. waiting on pictures, schools problems
Hermes Statue Sketch: I was drawn to the classic human figure idea and it's iconic status and it looked really spiffy in the antique shop so I decided to sketch it. It was replica so artist unknown and it was most likely bronze or a cheap metal.
Helmet Sketch: It was very detailed and classy looking and I just dig it. I didn't have enough to time draw out all the super detailed beautifulness of it, so I am disappointed in that, but I got the basic figure of it drawn. Again, I am unsure of the media and the artist.
Fan thing Sketch: I didn't know what it was, so I was curious. I still don't know what it is. Again I still didn't have time to sketch it fully, but I did get down the basic figure. Again, sorry, unknown artist and unknown media.
Dinosaur: I really liked its perfect shape and the cleanness of it. Again unknown artist and unknown media.
Self portraits: This was part of my sense of being overwhelmed, because of the pure perfection of their faces and ability to capture the human figure and proportions. Too many artists and pastel/chalk
Cloaked figure: It was huge, dark and menacing, of course I was drawn to it. I really am inspired by this to work on a large sheet of wood, then collage my paintings into a larger painting in a similar aspect.
